The social media platform consists of the most varied content - videos, curated content, photos, quotes, stories, news, GIFs, memes, and so on - implying that as a daily user you have access to all forms of posts that in turn have the power to impact your spirits and psyche considering how immersed people have become in the virtual world.
Social media is only as toxic as the people and pages you follow. If you check and analyse your feed, you may find that there are tons of unnecessary distractions that unknowingly do you more harm than good. Unfollow the ones that trigger anxiety, insecurities, or those that are making you have a negative idea of yourself, and replace these with people or pages that bring positivity into your life. You should have unmitigated adulation on your feed - posts that inspire, encourage, educate and motivate you to push further in life.
You choose what you see, so choose wisely. Keep your social media feed non-toxic and mentally healthy.
